This one opens flat, like a suitcase, the whole main compartment laid out in front of you so you actually see what you packed. Shoes drop into their own compartment underneath, well clear of the clean shirt. A seventeen-inch laptop sits padded against the back, a jacket or a yoga mat clips into the front flap, and the water-repellent shell takes a grey city downpour in its stride.
